Here are some random selections from my collection of photos.
Me and my father spent a very pleasant week driving around the west coast of Scotland, Mull and Iona.
Brooklyn
'97
This shot was taken from the roof of the World Trade
Center. I live somewhere off to the right of the bit of Brooklyn
Heights shown across the bridge.
Taken outside my Grandmothers old house in Binghamton New York, probably back in the 80s.
This shot was taken by Ross on his camera and kindly
donated. We were visiting the Alexander Palace conference centre near
where I lived at the time in North London near Turnpike Lane.
This shot was taken by Simon with my camera - err, thanks a
lot!
I've known these two reprobates since University. They came to
visit me here last October and as you can see were very lucky with the
weather. This is another shot from the World Trade Center.
Here's an older shot taken in Birmingham. Note the lack of face
furniture on Jimmy.
Sian is my younger sister, Tim my younger brother. Lisa and Eric
are my American cousins.
Jon and I went on a booze raid to Calais and ended up driving
nearly all the way to Belgium to see the war memorial at Vimy
Ridge. It was a close thing but we got back in time to stock up on
cheap beer and catch our ferry although I wouldn't like to mention how
fast we drove on the way back to Calais. This shot was taken as we
left Dover harbour.
This shows Jon, again taken on the ferry on the way over.
Here is the actual memorial. It was quite stunning in that light
(it had recently been raining).
Taken by the
Mersey on Otterspool Promenade.
Sometimes a picture is worth at least a thousand words.
This picture is here to remind Mark, now serving his country by
flying helicopters for the RAF, that his friends remember him as he
was way back when.
Mary Beth is too crazy to hold down any job for more than about 2
or 3 months, but she livened up the bar whilst she was there.
I can't quite remember nowadays exacly why my sister wished to
strangle Ross, but it's hardly surprising really.
More scenes from my big New York Adventure.
I forget which one it was, but I know it belongs to my Uncle
Geraint.
Vanya lived next door to me in Kings Heath Birmigham during my
final year at University. She invited me to a midnight bonfire party
and I played her some guitar. If you're out there Vanya, I'd love to
hear from you ;)
Taken in the living room of Christian, Deb and Kate's place on
Pineapple Road Stirchley, Birmingham. Many an evil brew of vodka and
Lilt was consumed there before heading off to "The Powerhouse".
We were somewhere off the Isle of Wight as I remember.
Taken at
my hat party, 1987, and yes that is a sieve he's wearing on his head.
